A BRONX TALE FILM POSTER, ADAPTATION FOR WILLOW BEND

A partial recreation of the original film poster for A BRONX TALE, directed by Robert De Niro.

Taking the original arrangement of the two profiles and film typography for the upper half of the piece and offering an alternative composition of some of the film’s key moments below. Delivered in a typical line-work style; dealing with absence and presence of light and shadow, the piece seeks to capture likeness and familiarity in this fashion.

Completed on 600gsm, hot pressed smooth finished paper, with archival ink, coloured alcohol ink, and a mid tone wash.

420mm x 594mm in size.

Framed in walnut timber with mat boarding and ultra clear, museum grade glazing.

It currently lives and is available for viewing at Willow Bend Cafe and Roaster on Queen Street, Croydon, South Australia.
